  1. ok misread shadowmage, and now have tried right col inside the left, which gets a result but end up with thishttp://www.yfd.com.au/insurance9.htmli feel im getting closer but still so far
  2. Thnaks guys,I tried both but no luck - the 1st suggestion just repeats my image in the right column. So I tried the 2nd suggestion and put my left col inside the right. However the left col then no longer floats to the left but sits above the right col.Im determined not to go back to tables, but this confuses me sometimes.
  3. hi guru'sI was wondering if someone could help me out with this. My website im making has a left col and floating to the left of the right col. I was wondering if its possible to make the left column keep expanding as the right col get longer.I have tried adding a spacer and repeating it in the background but am having no luck. The site is yfd.com.au - you can see under insurance products for example that the left col stops short. I wanted it to keep expanding with the right col so the grey reaches down to the footer.sorry Im very new to divs so any help would be very appreciated.
