1. Does anyone know of a javascript slider that I can use that will do pretty much the same thing as you see here: http://www.flyteusa.com/flyteusa/index1.php (but view in IE or Chrome) ???
 2. Would anyone know why my javascript slider does not work in FireFox? Ironically it works well in Ie and Chrome. All I did was modify a JQuery slider to fit my needs and even before I Modified it, the slider still would not work in FireFoxPage: http://www.flyteusa.com/flyteusa/index1.phpCode:

15+ Excellent High Speed Photographs

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. 3. I am having trouble getting the date to display properly from the server, I have tried many different ways and it is just not working. My table structure is set to TIMESTAMP and when I all something new through phpmyadmin I set the time to NOW. So it posts the current time of when I created the file. Now my issue is getting it to display properly. //$timestamp = $row['uptime'];//$file = $row['uptime'];//$lastmod = date("m-d-y", time($file));$uptime = time($row['uptime']);//echo date("m-d-y",$timestamp);$select = ("SELECT * FROM photo_albums ORDER BY uptime DESC LIMIT 5 ");$result = mysql_query($select) or die(mysql_error());while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {echo "
" ."".$uptime."
" ."
"; You can kind of see the different methods I have tried to get the proper time, unfortunately none of them have worked.I just want the date to be displayed like: 04-14-10Thanks for the insight,Brian
 4. I was wondering what is the most convenient way to upload photos to a database for an online gallery. Currently I am using excel CSV to upload all my photos. What i want to know is what is involved in coding an upload page to add photos to my site. The only thing is I would prefer my albums to be organized into folders by photographer or location. My photo gallery is already up and running and is split by the photographer or location, so I would prefer to keep things in this fashion. (I would upload about 2 albums a week with around 20 photos per album.)Would this be hard to code? or should I continue to use the CSV way? Thanks,Brian
 5. So my problem was all the code I added in the previous post was in an include file. That's where it was loosing the variable I was trying to get. I put all my code on the viewAlbum.php page and everything works fine..Thanks for your help.
 6. I ended up resorting back to my old code because it worked fine... Some other people changed it all around and it never worked so this is what I currently have. $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM photo_albums ORDER BY uptime DESC");while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo '
'; echo '<img src="' . $row['filepath']; echo $row['filename'] . '"'; echo 'border="0" />'; echo '
'; echo '' . $row['stitle']; echo '
'; echo $row['photog']; echo ''; echo "
"; }mysql_close($con);
 7. oks o I tried this... $aid = mysql_real_escape_string($_GET['aid'], $con);var_dump($aid); and I got this:string(0) ""But I dont know what that means.. any suggestions??Thanks.
 8. That is pretty much how I have it set up but with different page names.I used the $aid = $_GET['aid']; but I cant tell you if it is doing its job because its giving me error messages in other parts of my code. Here is my new code $aid = $_GET['aid'];$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM photo_albums ORDER BY uptime DESC");while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {echo "
";echo "<a href='viewAlbum.php?aid='$row['aid']'>";echo "<img src='$row['filepath']$row['filename']' border='0' />";echo "
";echo "<a href='viewAlbum.php?aid='$row['aid']'>$row['stitle']
";echo "$row['photog']
";}mysql_close($con); ?> Still having issues..
 9. Well that is the problem itself. I manually typed in that number 1. I dont want to manually type it in. I want to figure out how to get php to input the aid number in itself. As of right now I have three albums, aid: 1,2,3. No matter what I click on it shows the photos for album 1, aid:1.How would I fix that?
 10. So I am a beginner at coding so bear with me on the quality of my code.I am trying to code a photo gallery and having some difficulties.I have two pages with the in includes:Photo.php - this one seems to work but could have some errors that are causing the second page to not work. $con = mysql_connect("....t","...","...");if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); }mysql_select_db("...", $con);$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM photo_albums ORDER BY uptime DESC");while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo '
'; echo '<img src="' . $row['filepath']; echo $row['filename'] . '"'; echo 'border="0" />'; echo '
'; echo '' . $row['stitle']; echo '
'; echo $row['photog']; echo ''; echo "
"; }mysql_close($con); Next Page:viewAlbum.php - This on is the one that is not working properly. I cannot seem to get the page to call on the AID number from the thumbnail the user clicked on before. I can, although, manually type it in and make it display one album. $con = mysql_connect("...","...","...");if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); }mysql_select_db("...", $con);$result = mysql_query("SELECT *FROM `pictures` WHERE `aid` = 1 ORDER BY `pid` ASC");while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) { echo '
'; echo '
'; echo "
"; }mysql_close($con); Does anyone have any suggestions on how I fix this. My lightbox also does not seem to work if anyone also has any suggestions on that. Thanks for you time,Brian
