  1. alert('Changed Image'); is called. The second alert inside scrollBg is never called. I tried to get the function to call with setIntercal and setTimeout to no avail yet. It is strange I think.
  2. I have tried to call scrollBg() with two different functions setTimeout and setInterval none of which are doing anything at all for my cause. I was wondering if anyone might know what is going on here. <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ var xsrc = $('#cityscape').attr('src'); if(xsrc == 'img/cityscape01.jpg') { $('#cityscape').attr({src: 'img/cityscape02.jpg', alt: 'cover2'}); } alert('Changed Image'); function scrollBg(){ alert('msg'); var xsrc = $('#cityscape').attr('src'); if(xsrc == 'img/cityscape02.jpg') { $('#cityscape').attr({src: 'img/cityscap

    CSS & :hover

The above suggestions works excellent as long as I am not in IE. That's very odd.

    CSS & :hover

In the code my intent is to monitor the hover event of my div's through CSS for all div's belonging to the class "mainmenu". I put what I thought would work into the <style></style> tags but it does not have the desired effect in fact my CSS has no effect at all. I was wondering if anyone might know what I have done wrong? I have been testing it in IE as that is always the first browser I test in when I have new code. Once the code is working I tend to take the styles out of the inline form they are in and transfer them to a style sheet. <html><head><title>Brownf

I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong here. <center><div style='border: solid 1px black; width: 100px; height: 50px; overflow: hidden; background: #fff;'><div style='display: table-cell; vertical-align: middle;'><span>Home</span></div></div><span>Staff</span><br><span>Publications</span><br><span>FAQ</span><br><span>Links</span><br><span>Contact</span><br><span&

    "lr.", "tr." ?

I have a snapshot from a very long query I am working with. I searched my database for any tables named "lr" or "tr" but there are none. Does anyone know the meaning of the "lr." or the "tr.". SELECT DISTINCT lr.cl_station_num as cl_station_num, tr.tz_utc_std_offset as tz_utc_std_offset

To begin with lng and lat are floats. I am forced to use LIKE for some reason instead of "=".

    update queries.

I have developed the following queries but they do not operate. I get no errors from PHP or if I run them in MySQL WorkBench or PHPmyadmin. The queries do nothing at all which is the problem. The queries are supposed to set mz to 1 for the correct records. It is not working and I do not know why. I also verified that there are records that exist with lng and lat specified and import date specified. They are there for certain. UPDATE planning SET mz='1' WHERE import_date='5/10/2011 12:00:00 AM' AND lng='-118.291' AND lat='34.0618' LIMIT 1'UPDATE planning SET mz='1' WHERE import_date='5/10/2011

  19. Yes. That is exactly what I am trying to do. I need to backdate the program so that it thinks today is December, 09 2010.
  20. I have some code from a developer who I do not know very well. What the code is doing is getting the current date. The problem is that now I need to backdate $today so that $today is for December, 09 2010. I am really not sure at all how I would accomplish something like that and maintain the same format that the program needs to function. I always get great help out here! Thanks. $today = mktime(0, 0, 0, date('m'), date('d'), date('y'));//For some reason it is giving the day as tomorrow so we need to subtract a day;$today = $today;$date_begin = $today - (36 * $tz_offset);$date_end = $date_be

    Form Proccesing.

I have a form that contains many checkboxes. The following code runs many times in a while loop. echo "<input type='checkbox' name='" . $ID . "' value='" . $ID . My problem is how do I process the form once it is submitted? <?php$radio = $_POST['radio'];mysql_connect('edita','edita','edita');@mysql_select_db('methane') or die( "Unable to select database");$query="SELECT * FROM planning WHERE import_date='" . $radio .
