my friend needs a simple form with text box for name, 2 check boxes and and drop down menu with a list of classes, like an application but he needs 1 that will save it as an ascii file on the server rather than emailing it. ive seen different types of forms online but they are all email scripts and frankly most of the coding i dont understand can anyone help me?

Im trying to create a feedback page that will send it to my feedback email account but everything i try automatically tries to open my email client but i want it to just send the information to the email address without opening the email client my website currently has a feedback but it was designed in frontpage with webbots and i wont use frontpage can anybody help me i dont want something elaborate i just want something simple and easy to put in?
