  1. Thank you to all of you that have taken the time to reply, I appreciate it and I apologise for not getting in touch sooner but I have been working on another project. I now have some time to go back to this so will look into what you have all said and have a go, wish me luck! -though i'm most likely to get stuck again
  2. HiI am trying to have a number of images that appear randomly at the top of my website. The images must link to separate pages on my site. I have the following code which is working but I am getting alot of repeats, for example the first image may appear 3 or 4 times before the 3rd image appears etc. I have shortened the code to show just 3 images but I have about 15.var total_images = 3;var random_number = Math.floor((Math.random()*total_images));var random_img = new Array();random_img[0] = '<a href="page1.html"><img src="../../images/111.jpg" alt="aaa" title="test1"></a>';r
  3. Hi Im hoping someone can help me. I have an asp site hosted on a windows shared hosting account. I want to have it set up so that if a user types a url address with or without the file extension then the page still shows. EG: www.mywebsite.com/about-us will bring up the www.mywebsite.com/about-us.asp page (but without showing the .asp bit) I was told I needed a .htaccess file and to include the following: RewriteEngine onRewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-dRewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}\.asp -fRewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1.asp I loaded this up but nothing, if I type www.mywebsite.com/about-us I get "T
  4. HelloI have a number of forms on my site which have started to receive lots of spam. As the form is also cc'd to the advertiser they too are receiving the spam messages which obviously reflects badly on me and Im concerned we could lose customers. I tried installing the captcha from google but I was unsuccessful however I personally do not like their version - far to big and even I struggle to read it! - so I was wondering if anyone knows of any other methods that can be used to try and stop these spammers and which are simple to install (my programming skills are limited).
