  4. Yes thank you that was Komposer sticking its nose in. I had previously removed all of that in Notebook but must have saved it again after opening it with Komposer. I shall remove them. The image is with all the other files in the public folder. I haven't made any sub folders but I will do now and add all move all the images to that folder and redirect the links, for good house keeping. Thanks for the help. Thanks will do.
  5. Yes it is the content of the navbar and yes you are right, I didn't realize you could include html. I just read the leason on icluding php and assumed that is what you have to do. Thanks I think I know what the problem is.
  6. Works for me, try it again.

    Image size

In windows just mouse over the file and a tooltip should tell you the size in pixels and kB. You can also right click the file and look at its properties. The best way is to download Paint.NET a superb free image editor. You can then not only find out its size but also resize it to what ever you want.
  9. Hello all.My name is Paul I am 44 and I live in the London area. I am a design engineer by day and MMO gamer by night.I am a self confessed web design noob and am looking for some sage advice.I have been teaching myself HTML & CSS with the help of W3Schools, Komposer and Notepad++ and am in the process of putting a very, lets say, basic site together.
