  1. If you aint trying to start a debate, then don't :-PI am aware that this code is very long, but for me it took no longer than 15 minutes using dreamweaver to come up with it, so in my opinion it is good :-)
  2. Oh I see it works for me too now - Thanks a lot :-)
  3. Yes it works in chrome, but have you tried iExplorer?
  4. You are absolutely right, I had none - added center as many places as possible, however it still does not work: <div align="bottom center" style="background:url(bottomline.png) repeat"><font size="5" align="center" font="arial" color="white";><br><p align="center">The administrators on this site are not responsible for typing errors in the calculator.</p><a href="index.html"><img src="dansk.png" border="0%" alt="Skift Sprog til Dansk"><a href="Homepage.html"><img border="0%" src="Engelsk.png" alt="Change language"></font></div><div>
  5. Here is the code I got already on all four pages: <div align="bottom" style="background:url(bottomline.png) repeat"> <font size="5" align="center" font="arial" color="white";><br><p align="center">Administratore på denne side er ikke ansvarlige for tastefejl.</p><a href="Regn_Det_Ud.html"><img border="0%" src="dansk.png" alt="Skift Sprog til Dansk"><a href="Calculate_it.html"><img border="0%" src="Engelsk.png" alt="Change language"></font></div>
  6. Haha my bad - I dont know why, but the 'h' in homepage must be a capital letter - http://www.fravaersudregner.dk/Homepage.html
  7. Hello people at W3Shools!I have now been looking around the forum for a few days, and my account has now been approved for posts :-)Let me get to my problem. I have a two buttons on my website, which changes the language of the side. I would like those placed at the buttom of the page, centered, in a div box with some other stuff - so I did that.I wrote the div once, and copied to the other pages, editing the names of html files, so it would stay at the same page.However on two pages, the two buttons are to the left, and on the last two, they are in the center - why is that?Link to website: www.fravaersudregner.dk/Homepage.html The two pages are Contact and Homepage
  8. Well, I just gave him my input, and a solution to his problem :-)In my opinion, if it works, it doesn't matter how long the code is
  9. No I did not write all this myself - I simply used Dreamweaver, which has the function to make these "highlight" buttons.If you got dreamviewer youself, it should be named something like Rollover image.
  10. Well, this is just how I made it, which works, so if you guys want to use it, feel free to :-)
  11. I got this feature on my website it is pretty simple. Add this javascript to your head tag: <script type="text/javascript">function MM_swapImgRestore() { //v3.0 var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i<a.length&&(x=a[i])&&x.oSrc;i++) x.src=x.oSrc;}function MM_preloadImages() { //v3.0 var d=document; if(d.images){ if(!d.MM_p) d.MM_p=new Array(); var i,j=d.MM_p.length,a=MM_preloadImages.arguments; for(i=0; i<a.length; i++) if (a[i].indexOf("#")!=0){ d.MM_p[j]=new Image; d.MM_p[j++].src=a[i];}}} function MM_findObj(n, d) { //v4.01 var p,i,x; if(!d) d=document; if((p=n.indexOf("?"))>0&&parent.frames.length) { d=parent.frames[n.substring(p+1)].document; n=n.substring(0,p);} if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i<d.forms.length;i++) x=d.forms[i][n]; for(i=0;!x&&d.layers&&i<d.layers.length;i++) x=MM_findObj(n,d.layers[i].document); if(!x && d.getElementById) x=d.getElementById(n); return x;} function MM_swapImage() { //v3.0 var i,j=0,x,a=MM_swapImage.arguments; document.MM_sr=new Array; for(i=0;i<(a.length-2);i+=3) if ((x=MM_findObj(a[i]))!=null){document.MM_sr[j++]=x; if(!x.oSrc) x.oSrc=x.src; x.src=a[i+2];}}</script> Body tag should look like this: <body onLoad="MM_preloadImages('Startside-knap_MouseHover.png','Hvem_er_vi-knap_MouseHover.png','Regn_det_ud-knap_MouseHover.png','Kontakt_os-knap_MouseHover.png')" align="center"> For the buttons, code should look like this: <a href="Homepage.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image5','','Homepage_MouseHover.png',1)"><img src="Homepage-knap_NoHover.png" alt="Homepage" name="Image5" width="241" height="93" border="0"></a><a href="Who_are_we.html"><img src="Who_Are_We_MouseHover.png" alt="Hvem er vi?" name="Hvem Er Vi?" width="241" height="93" border="0"></a><a href="Calculate_it.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Regn_Det_Ud','','Calculate_MouseHover.png',1)"><img src="Calculate_NoHover.png" alt="Regn Det Ud!" name="Regn_Det_Ud" width="241" height="93" border="0"></a><a href="Contact.html" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Kontakt Os','','Contact_MouseHover.png',1)"><img src="Contact_NoHover.png" alt="Kontakt os" name="Kontakt Os" width="241" height="93" border="0"></a> Please note that there are four bottons in this code, which you will have to change out with your own images - nothing in the javascript should be edited. The buttons will be aligned in the center. You will also need a picture of the button when the mouse aint hovering at it, aswell as a picture of the button when the mouse is hovering it - added "mousehover" and "nohover" to my picture names to make that more clear for you.
  12. I had this problem a few days ago aswell - which pictures are not alligned in the center?If you just want to make the image centered, there is a way that I use, which works, however I don't know if that is the easiest way.All I did was simply placing the IMG in a div, and align that div to the center. <div align="center"><img src="image here"></div> Let me know if it worked
  13. I am trying to make this grey bottom line on every page (Not the whole background, but only like a bottom line), where is has some text - The thing is, that around the sides of the grey box, you can see the background - I want that line to fill out the whole page in width, but not in height (the height it got right now is good)How do I made it wider?
  14. Well well, I changed the layout and it seems like that worked - however I encountered a new problem. I want this "bottomline" ( I don't know what else to call it ) on my page, which has some text in it. This is how I did it: <div align="bottom" style="background:url(bottomline.png) repeat"> <p><font size="3" face="arial" color="black"><br><br>Administratore på denne side er ikke ansvarlige for tastefejl.<br><br><br></font></p></div> However the thing is that the background in the div doesn't fill out the whole page - is that because I am making a div, which won't fill out the entire page, or is there anything wrong with my code?Screenshot of the problem:
  15. I've got the same problem aswell! It is really pissing me off, because in my background, I made this grey "box" which my buttons on the site would appear in, however on any other size of screen/browser, they are not alligned inside the box. I don't know why exactly, but if you know how to fix this, please let me know :-)Another thing that is bothering me is that if I resize my browser, my buttons, images and so on will move aswell.
