anyone? please?

i'm just learning all this css stuff, so please bear with me. making a site for a friend, and have finally got it looking how we want, except on the ipad/iphone there is a white vertical space at far right. i know it has something to do with defining widths, but i can't figure it out. any help out there? thanks so much. http://demetriusgonzalez.com/morehousedesign/index.28march.html

spent the whole day making this page (yes, i'm a beginner ;-). i have most of it as i wish (yes, using hook or crook at times ;-). but there is a white border around the whole page and i can't seem to make it go away. any suggstions most appreciated! http://chrisstebbins.com/
