  1. Hello Community! Here’s a conundrum… I have two elements that I need on a page that just won’t play nice with each other: a mega-menu (required for the main site navigation) and a simple mailchimp signup form (in the footer). See them both on this page here: https://cms.ucd.ie/geary2020/research/ The problem is that the mailchimp form (in the footer) won’t accept submissions unless the following line is removed: <script>var plugin_path = '/t4cms/';</script> This code is however is needed by the mega-menu, so I have to keep it there. If I remove the above line - then the Mailchimp form will accept submissions BUT the mega-menu is broken! I have tried reordering the sequence of the .js files - that didn’t work. Also, I have downloaded and stored locally the mailchimp js file: mc-validate-geary.js - so I can make any suggested edits directly in this file. I suspect the solution will be found by editing this file. Any advice much appreciated!
  2. Hello, $(function () { $('#selectliste').change(function () { var l = selectliste.options[selectliste.selectedIndex].innerHTML; var tous = l.split(' '); $.each(tous, function(index, value) { $("#label").html(value) + "<br>"; return ( value !== "" ); }); }) }); here, I want to get the value of my select box which are in string type, after I explode the string in array, the set the value of array in label, But, all worked wonderfully until $("#label").html(value) + "<br>"; which only retrieves the last list of my array. How can I make to recover all the value of my array, thank you!
  3. Hello, I want to set of my input text value of a string where I split in advance, so for each array of the string set it of input! I should it like this but the input don't loop. $(function () { $('#submit').click(function () { var met = $('#nom').val(); var metiers = met.split(', '); var join = ""; $.each(metiers, function(index, value) { join += value; $('#input').each(function () { $(this).val(join); }); }); }) }); who can I do so that my input split and have all value of string exploded, thanks
  4. I am attempting to fade in 8 images, one at a time with a delay between each one. I have used the following code. /* I have 8 <div>s, named "one", "two", "tre" ... etc.. */ var divs = ["one", "two", "tre", "for", "fiv", "six", "svn", "egt"];/* initially these divs all have an attribute of display:none I step through each elemet in the "divs" array, I take the litteral "div#, and append to it the value of the current array element, and pass this value to the slowShow function. */ for (var i=0;i<divs.length;i++) { setTimeout(slowShow("div#"+divs[i]), 555555); }; /* the function slowShow calls a jQuery function using the value passed to that function as the selector for the jQuery function */ function slowShow(param) { $(param).fadeIn( 2400 ); };/* the snipit of code displays the 8 individual divs all at once, though they all use the fadeIn value of 2400 */ The entire page code is attached, but the images are not. Please note, Initially a class was used to give all divs the attribute of display:none. All divs had that class, plus a unique identifier. I was hoping that by using the ID as the jQuery selector, I might be able to display each div individually, one by one. But they all display at once, as though I was using the class in my selector. I already tried placing a display:none attribute in each unique div identifier. That didn't help, so I changed it back to using a class to set all the divs to display:none.
