  1. I got it to open the application when I right click and clicked my app, but the picture didn't open. Same thing with Double clicking. I looked for code online with no success; Google only found how to open in Visual Studio, not what I wanted. Not to be mean, but if I don't get any answers again, I will be quitting for VB on this page and look for an alternate VB Forum. Twice, I ask for help here on this Forum about Visual Studio/Basic, and nobody answers, and can't change tags for better luck. Frustrating. However, I may still ask about other codes if I get answers. Anyhow, I want to use this highlighted "Open with..." command, or replace "Open (the app, and manually open file by drag-and-drop to the app)" and have it open. Automatic, not with open and drag-and-drop. I want to open when I double click. I need code to link the opened file like I did drag-and-drop to a picture tool to auto open, unless I opened the app alone... Let me know if you need the current code. Please, PLEASE give me help, thank you for the help. Any help WOULD BE APRECIATED.
  2. Hello. I'm upgrading an old site - & created a new subdomain & copying all the code slowly - upgrading to W3CSS & validating the code.. Anyway, On the left menu, There is a side-menu. I can click on it & it disapears / re-appears. It was working up until a few days ago. But i continued upgrading it today & noticed that it no longer opens/closes. Ive double-checked & the javascript names are there - it looks OK. ive checked the full HTML & can see no duplicate ID's (2 ID's using the same name etc..) so everything looks OK. However it does not work. can anyone assist me in finding out what is wrong ? PS Ive sone a validation check on a few pages & they do validate. This is a simple page (less HTML code) - http://foe-new.kwister.com/acronym Thank you EDIT: I was not editing / upgrading the side-bar today - I was transferring other files. I do not know why the sidebar does not open/close.
  3. Hey all, I'm trying to build a dynamic store opening hours display (see image below) what I have: as you can see on the image above, a red box shows what day it is today. When the store is open 09:00 till 12:00 and 13:00 till 18:00 the red box will change into a green one. When closed a red box appears. Holidays are calculated in PHP Closed days are stored in MYSQL and pulled in php what I still need: I'm searching for a easy and correct way to check if for example today is 17/11/2014 If there is going to be a holiday or a closed day within 7 days. (18,19,20,21,22,23/11/2014) If there is a holiday or closed day within 7days it had to been displayed (Arrow on image) Something like this: if (is_a_holiday == true && Monday) {echo $date_of_holiday} else if (is_closed == true && Monday) {echo $date_of_closed} else {echo $Display_regular_Monday} if (is_a_holiday == true && Thuesday) {echo $date_of_holiday} else if (is_closed == true && Thuesday) {echo $date_of_closed} else {echo $Display_regular_Thuesday} // Other days calculation ... Holidays are callculated this way: <?php// vvvvv HOLIDAYS vvvvv // START$Jaar = date('Y'); // Current Year$dezeweek1 = date('Y/m/d'); // Current Day$dezeweek7 = date('Y/m/d', strtotime("+7 day")); // Current Day + 7 Days$EA = easter_date($Jaar); // Easter This Year$ED = date('j', $EA); // Easter Day$EM = date('n', $EA); // Easter Month$EY = date('Y', $EA); // Easter Year $feestdag_01 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,1,1,$Jaar)); // Newyear$feestdag_02 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0, 0, 0, $EM, $ED + 1, $EY)); // Easter Monday$feestdag_03 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,5,1,$Jaar)); // Labor Day$feestdag_04 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0, 0, 0, $EM, $ED + 39, $EY)); // Our Dear Lord Ascension$feestdag_05 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0, 0, 0, $EM, $ED + 50, $EY)); // Pinkster Monday$feestdag_06 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,7,21,$Jaar)); // Nationale feestdag$feestdag_07 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,8,15,$Jaar)); // Our Dear Lady Assumption$feestdag_08 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,11,1,$Jaar)); // All Hallows$feestdag_09 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,11,11,$Jaar)); // Truce$feestdag_10 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,12,25,$Jaar)); // Christmas $feestdag_15 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,11,18,$Jaar)); // Test Date$feestdag_16 = date('Y/m/d', mktime (0,0,0,11,19,$Jaar)); // Test Date// ^^^^^ HOLIDAYS ^^^^^ // END?> English is not my mother language so if my syntax is not correct I apologize Thank you.
  4. Okay, this is a little hard to explain, but i try. As you see on the attached/uploaded picture, i wish to make a div like the page i found some days ago, it's easy i know.. BUT, here comes my problem. I am using a template/global design via a file called template.php inside (root/templates/template.php), and in there i have my menu to be shown... now, i wish this sub-menu to be shown, and i have done that, only problem is, that file is to be used on global design, meaning this div will be shown on ALL files (pages). Now my question, is it possible with if and else statements (possible functions also), to make it show only on 1 file, the file called: webshop.php this is how my code inside template.php looks like right now: //=======MENU$HTMLOUT .= "<div id='menu'>"; $HTMLOUT .= "<a href='#'>123</a>"; $HTMLOUT .= "";$HTMLOUT .= "</div>";//=====SUB$HTMLOUT .= "<div id='under_menu'>"; $HTMLOUT .= "123";$HTMLOUT .= "</div>";//=====SUB//=======MENU my first thought was to use a if isset statement saying if a file was open, i did try search on google and other few forums/places, but without luck.. any ideas would be awsome!
  5. What is the difference between using the directory functions to change the directory and opening file as opposed to just opening the file straight? I am not sure if you can open a file in a different directory by using the directory function or not, so correct me if it is not possible. chdir("info/");$fileName="info.txt";$file=fopen($fileName,"r+"); VS $directory="info/";$fileName="info.txt";$file=fopen($directory.$fileName,"r+"); If we use the first, how do we change back to the previous directory? If both is possible, which is the better method? Outside of opening files, which is better? Using strings or directory functions?
