Hello Folks, Newbie here, learning via w3schools.com. I think I'm missing something basic, but I can't figure it out.I'm using w3schools to create a hero image (via https://www.w3schools.com/howto/tryit.asp?filename=tryhow_css_hero_image), but when I upload that code to my host, and then using different screen resolutions, the image is distorted. Viewing it on 1024x600, I see the hero image of the guy holding a camera, but if I view it on a much higher resolution, the image is "zoomed in" to the top left area of the picture. Here's the code, any help would be most appreciated: &

Hello! I am quite new to CSS, and have learned much the past months, but I still have some things that trouble me and i struggle to find a sollution. I do work with div tags. Problem 1: At the right, you can see "New Comics" with an unorderd list consisting of two items at this moment. The date is "float: right". it shows good on my screen, and any other medium to large screen resolution, but once it gets to small, the date gets ON the border line. I tried: min-width:300px Result: It jumped UNDER the content that should be on the left of it. URL: http://www.nimblefeather.com/index.p

Hello, a complete beginner here - I have just built my first website, but to my horror I realized that if I view it with another screen resolution, or on someone else's computer, it changes the whole appearance of the site, esp. the flow of the paragraphs, often to a very ugly result. Images start to overlap paragraph, and paragraphs suddenly look extremely narrow. I am happy to restructure the website, (built in html without Dreamweaver's help) but have no idea how - especially how to make the main structure adjust to different views (larger/smaller screens, i-pads etc) Thank you! You ca

I think I am ready to roll out the first version of my site. I looked at my site on three different computers in my house and they all chose to format my web content differently. I am using a margin float command to place three table sidebyside but when I open up my site on other computers (not the one i made my site on) it formats it differently. How do I ensure that my site automatically sizes its ouput to keep the site looking the same always on every computer?
