Is This FLASH??

I was surfing around, and found this site: http://authoravenue.com/ I like the animated logo at the top left hand side of the screen that says Author Avenue. I'm not interested in the light lighting up, but the way the letters appear. Is this Flash, or Java Script? How the heck to I create something like that? Thanks to all who respond.

It's Flash, yes. And that's not hard to see yourself. If you right-click on it, you'll get the Flash menu where it says "About Adobe Flash 'number'".And I can't see it, because it obvious don't work in Opera, because it's an error code they're using, so I can't see how it looks

yes it is a very basic flash animation. first get a flash program 8) learn how to do tween motion and you will be able to do that.
