Good afternoon,I want to make a family tree as a web page. How would I align the boxes with people's names in them? Is there a more efficient way, other than using a table? Thanks a lot,Primal

I think you'd want to use xml maybe, as that is already tree-structured. Then it could be a good idea to use XSLT to format the xml-tree into an html table.

Alright, no thanks. I'm still learning HTML (but more javascript) right now, and I'm not ready to start XML. I know CSS, and so when vchris said that I could use CSS I would have tried that. But as you can see he hasn't answered, so I guess I'll start with plain HTML.Primal

sorry I've been busy this week but I got lots of time now. So basically you'll want to create divs.HTML:<div class="parent">John Doe</div>CSS:div.parent { width: 150px; height: 100px; position: absolute; top: 50px; left: 200px; border: 1px solid #000000; }This is just an example, you could also use position relative. So you would make a div for every box you need (parent, kids, grand parents...)
