smartalco
Im guessing by fixed fonts you mean fonts that everyone has on their computer, right?considering he asked for a url he could download them from, im guessing he means monospaced fonts
aspnetguy
your question is unclear. Please explain your request further. what do you mean by Fixed fonts?
ben3001
considering he asked for a url he could download them from, im guessing he means monospaced fonts Well smartalco others also seem to think his question is also unclear, thus I made an assumption, as to which you cannot judge until Amit replies. I have simply tried to clarify what he is asking and although I may be wrong, your comment is irrelevant to the question asked and has no purpose! Possibly you should wait for his reply instead of being certain. .
justsomeguy
If you're talking about a fixed-width font, like one to use with a programming editor, my prefered font is Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:http://www.gnome.org/fonts/It has clear differences between stuff like l, 1, I, and O, 0 so you can easily read it. Also the punctuation like ( { [ are clearly different, it's a good font for programming.
smartalco
@ben3001: im not entirely sure how your comment is more relavent then mine, we both were saying what we thought he ment@justsomeguy: i might have to dl that on my home computer, the default font that im using isn't that good...@amit: if your using this for a website (which would make sense, this being the forum that it is), downloading it to your computer wont help unless you save everything to an image, text on a page can only show up in fonts that the viewer has

croatiankid
By the way you can't legally download commercial fonts for free.
Kingy
Yes that too, those fonts should already be on your windows system assuming you are using windows.Otherwise they have to be purchased prior to downloading.Further to my post, if you meant fonts compatible for more than one system, here's window + mac ones.http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.htmlhttp://www.angelfire.com/al4/rcollins/style/fonts.htmlHope they help.
