murfitUK
Just curious but...With html, is there any way of using a slider to register a user's input. For example, you ask a question like "How useful was this information?" and then a range of answers from -5 (rubbish) to 5 (brilliant). I know I could use a drop down box or radio buttons. Just thought it would be fun to try something different - with a pointer that the user could slide from side to side.Probably need javascript or something but I don't know the first thing about that. justsomeguy
It's Javascript, there's no HTML element like that. The best example I've seen of something doing that is on the Blue Nile site:http://www.bluenile.com/diamond_search.asp...amp;filter_id=0Click the checkbox under one or more shapes and hit the Search button to see what I'm talking about.
