Placing a flash piece into html

I sliced the image in Illustrator and I have a flash piece that needs to be placed within one of the slices/table cell. Everytime I insert the flash piece into the selected slice in dreamweaver, the rest of the site goes defunct. I'm wondering if this is the proper way to do this, or if anyone knows a better way around it.

make sure you are using "Code Mode" so that you can be certain things are going where you want them to go.Post some of your code or your URL so we can have a look.
