justsomeguy
The text-indent property only has a single value, there aren't values for all 4 sides.
Lokolo
still hasn't worked. text-indent: 50%;changed to low changes (2, 5 etc.) then 25, then 50. but nothing. would it be better to just have number of spaces before the text? should I have any of the properties in order? should i have others in there?hm.... forget everything. instead I used margin-left. i just need to learn when to be able to use the properties and which ones when practice i guess. jlhaslip
text-indent only works on block-level elementshttp://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/text.html#propdef-text-indentAn anchor tag is in-linehttp://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/links.html#h-12.2Unless otherwise defined on the page, of course.
