Because XML is not developed to create web-site.Remember XML is not the replacement of HTML. An XML based language to be more precise.XSLT can be used to transform any other kind of XML into XHTML. But what you get untimately is XHTML anyway...A lot of companies do use XML in the form of XHTML. Those same companies often (though more rarely) also use XML and XSLT at the back end - i.e. the server code or in other words - code that is never read in the browser.
