Guest n00bzz Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Hi, guys, I'm a beginner in this kind of stuff and I want to learn Ajax.I copied the testAjax.htm and time.asp codes from AJAX tutorial page, then i wanted to try on my laptop.after I typed my name on the name field, nothing came out, just "<html>" which is 1st line tag from time.asp file.What should I do now ?Thanks guys.. You can't just run those files off the file:// pseudo-protocol.If you don't, then you'd better download one, however since I don't know of any free ASP software servers then you could also upload your files to a remote host. justsomeguy Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Windows XP pro and some versions of Vista, plus 2000 and 2003, have the IIS server included on the CD.
