RivkaS
Sorry to ask this here, but I still have no access to the NVU/KompoZer forum:When using this programm in either version it has a view-possibility that reads HTML-Tags and one that reads Source - okay, source is their expression for code but what are their "tags" and how does one use them or why would I need them? Synook
Err... tags as in <tag>? I have never used NVU, but from the screenshots it appears the HTML-tags view displays the page as your browser sees it (i.e. as in "normal" view), but also overlays the bounding-boxes of the tag blocks (e.g. <div></div>) with acompanying labels. These HTML-tags are normal HTML tags, such as <div>, <img />, etc. Uh... you use HTML tags to code your websites, click on "source" to see what I mean.Screenshot of HTML-tags view in action: http://kompozer.sourceforge.net/screenshots/kpz-scr-03.png
RivkaS
You screen-shot show it but what do I need these tags for? Thats what I try to figure out.
Synook
I suppose it will help you visualize what happens to you source when it is rendered... The tags are the HTML tags - you use them to create your web-pages. Look at the names of the tags in the HTML-tags view, then click on the source tab. See the correlation? RivkaS
Okay, I will ignore them. Maybe they are useful for users who don't read w3school tutorials - I know I am a snob -
