coolgamer48
Okay,So I just saw someone doing what I THINK was setting their timezone so that the date() function returned the data in the timezone that they wanted. They used the function ini_set.Can anyone tell me anything about this function (and, if one exists, a reference page on it, I failed to find one).I'd also like to know specifically how to set the timezone dates are output in to EST(GMT-5).Please and thank you! coolgamer48
Scratch this post - found a solution that only works with PHP 5 or higher, which my server doesn't support.
zppblood
http://us.php.net/manual/en/function.ini-set.phpPHP has a file included with it called php.ini that configures PHP. It allows things such as using ASP and short tags, output buffering, etc.<?php php_info();?>^^^ This will display PHP information.http://us.php.net/manual/en/function.phpinfo.php
justsomeguy
The list of configure options is in the appendix:http://www.php.net/manual/en/ini.phpNot all of the options can be set using ini_set, some can only be set in the php.ini file.
