dezkit
Is there this code that if you are not running on Mozilla FireFox you cannot view the site and it says "Mozilla FireFox is required. Download Mozilla FireFox here." etcanyone?
Ingolme
I really don't recommend that. It's annoying and a pretty big mistake from web designers. Some people may be in offices or shared computers and aren't allowed to download other software.I guess you can detect the browser using $_SERVER['USER_AGENT'] (I think that's the variable, somebody correct me if I'm wrong. zppblood
You can search the string $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] or download a file browscap.ini and tell PHP where it is in the php.ini file and use get_browser().http://us3.php.net/manual/en/function.get-browser.php
guitar idiot
Don't make it just for Firefox, a lot of people use IE and Opera. Just work around whatever problem you have with using those browsers.
morrisjohnny
I agree even i'm a big fan of firefox (look below) but even i like to see my site working in every-type of broswer. including IE. Like Ingolme says you may be at school, work or collage and unable to view your page. but in the end it's your choice.note:how can you work around the problem that firefox owns? hehe.
