Dark Knight
Hi all, I need your help. I want to make a gif image with 24 or 32 bit depth but I don't know how. I know that gifsa are for making animated images and they support only 8 bit depth, but I've read on wikipedia that it can be made even on a true color (24/32 bit depth). Is there a program that can be made this kind of files? thank you.
Synook
There are few tools around that can easily produce 24-bit GIFs (e.g. ANGIF or SView5) - however it is rarely an appropriate format unless there is absolutely no other option. Why not just use the PNG format? Just as widely supported, and natively supports 24 and 32 bit graphics. The frame hack sounds a bit dodgy to me - what will images look like while they are loading? Also, the Wikipedia article states thatHowever, most web browsers seem to assume that this multi-image feature will only be used for animation and insert a minimum delay between images.
