franceav Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 can anyone tell me if if I'm going to build a totally bilingual enabled site(e.g:English and Chinese)which is the best way to create the Mysql databae:1.to create sibling tables, suppose one named table_english(...) and another named table_chinese2.create company fields in one table,for example:bilingual_table(english,chinese)please tell me which is the best way or suggest other better methods,this site is medium/small sized but must fully support bilingual display&switching,thank you very much and sorry for my English! If you have several tables then you can keep the field names constant or if you have several fields in one table then you can keep the table names constant. Either way will work though.
