Network drives

Recommended Posts

I have been working through examples from this site, but have got stuck on the section looking at seeing if files and drives exist. They work fine finding local drives on my network station but don't work finding w: s: t: which are not real drives but shares from the server. Are there other commands like Driveexists, folderexists, etc that will look on my network drives?ThanksJohn

I have sorted the problem myself - but now have another problem. I have written an ASP page which moves a file from a users area to another users area, but it only works for me logged on an Administrator. I have given the first user full security rights to the other users area but it still doesn't work. Is there a security thing in ASP which is stopping it?John
