Ok I know this is probably obvious but I may have missed somethingI have a mysql database field called event_start_date with data like 2008-02-10 in. Data type is DATE I want to convert this on a page to 10 Feb 2008 (we are in NZ so mth and day are reverse of US) I have tried using echo date("d M Y", $row['event_start_date'])but this returns 31 12 1969 on any date in the fieldecho $row['event_start_date'] returns 2008-02-10 ok.I'm sure this must be easy - just can't make it work! How do I do it please?I can use date("d M Y") fine to convert todays date okThanks
