justsomeguy
All images are rectangular, there isn't any format for an image that I'm aware of where the image is defined as anything other then a rectangular area. The best thing for you to do is to go into Photoshop and select the part you want to copy and paste it into a new image in Photoshop. When you paste it you should see that it is pasted over a transparent background (if the area you selected isn't a rectangle). In Photoshop, save the image as a transparent PNG and then import that PNG into Flash. When Flash imports it, it will retain the transparent areas.
