astralaaron Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 if you go to vikingbjj.com when the video starts the guy on the left has a gradiant to alpha mask over him so he alphas into the video a bit.I brought that same flash file into flash cs3 and the mask doesnt work!i set the mask like this: instanceName1.setMask(instanceName2);instancename1 would be the picture to be masked and 2 would be the gradient to alphaboth in movieclips...anyone try to do something similar to this in cs3?
