Londonladadz Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Hey All, im having a little issue with my Coding and I hope someone can help out i know it will probably be something little but hey here we go :)I have made up a template, sliced it and made it back into a site, when I preview the site on my system it looks fine, same as in Frontpage however when i access the site on the net the template It is a very bad idea as the code is very bloated (thus increasing download times) and is not semantic. By using CSS, you can have greater flexibility and control over the layout of your pages. Your menu can be set using unordered list <ul> using CSS to style the background.If you plan on having this website for a very long time then I would suggest you use correct semantics and avoid tables (except for tabular data). It's better to take a few extra months longer in order to get your site done right so that you will not have to rebuild it few months later.Photoshop Image Ready really is an old method that just produces a chunk of needless codes and images that does nothing for search engines and for those users browsing your site (if any). Otherwise, someone will have to take a good chunk of time to figure out what your problem is.My comments are meant to be taken constructively and not offensively.
