I just started on a small site, www.schoolsareforfish.net. The sidebar works perfectly in FireFox 3 (which I was using while writing), and decently in FF 2, but horrible in IE. The menu is JS-driven. It flickers because every millisecond (read: as fast as the browser can calculate) it recalculates and completely rewrites the innerHTML of the sidebar <td>. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. Also, the bubbles don't appear for some reason; the z-index is fine, but they won't show. And the water stays at the top and grows longer, looking rather silly! In Opera, the water starts 2x too high and moves 2x too slowly.Lastly, I haven't figured out how to preload images yet, so that would be invaluable to know.Well, I'm just a bundle of problems! But i would sure appreciate some hints. Thanks!EDIT: The title has a misspelling.
