GrahamJAT
It would be really useful to be able to search across all forums (or is it forae?) rather than having to search each forum individually. For example, I am looking for any forum reference to SVG. Since there is no forum specific to this topic, there could be mention in any of the current forums.
Jonas
It would be really useful to be able to search across all forums (or is it forae?) rather than having to search each forum individually. For example, I am looking for any forum reference to SVG. Since there is no forum specific to this topic, there could be mention in any of the current forums. But you can do that right here:http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?act=Search:)I didn't find anything on SVG personally, but I tried Scalable Vector Graphics, and beside the posts talking about scalable page designs, I found these two posts:http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.ph...entry5389andhttp://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.ph...mp;#entry100742Sorry, but it doesn't seem to be a hot topic here, most likely for lack of support in one or more major browsers. You're still welcome to start threads about it in the xml forum though.
GrahamJAT
But you can do that right here:http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?act=Search Thanks Jonas. This ref will be useful. Though, why can't I find it on the main Forum page (http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?) ? I think it should be referenced to from there. jeffman
The menu at the top of every page has a search item. To find the page Jonas pointed out, click that, then click more search options. And, FWIW, the Latin plural of forum is fora. The ae plural ending is generally for feminine nouns already ending in a.Thus, alumna -> alumnae.(I'm such a geek!)
justsomeguy
If you're using a browser that doesn't show the header on this page (Opera doesn't show it), then you can click My Assistant, then Search, then hit Go and you can get a link to the Advanced search. Jonas
If you're using a browser that doesn't show the header on this page (Opera doesn't show it), then you can click My Assistant, then Search, then hit Go and you can get a link to the Advanced search. That's funny. I can see the header perfectly in Opera 9.5...
justsomeguy
I've never been able to see it in Opera, I'm not sure what's different. I use some custom things but nothing that should affect layout like that.
