Ideally, once i enter the name and the employee number say and then click on the submit button, I want a word doc generated and opened, with the given name and the emp no, dynamically inserted inthe word doc. please let me know if there is anyway i can do this. real_illusions Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 this would require a database and therefore MySQL and php...and therefore a server,although, thats as far as i can guide you as i dont know much else about databases.:)although, if its small enough, it could probably be done with a few files and a way to call them files when the data matches.
