tom742617000027
Is there a way to get around the pop-up blocker in IE? All I want is a new window to open with an absolute size when there's a link clicked in my website, but I can't gt around the pop-up blocker. I think that will make my website far less user-friendly and not accesable for IE users. Can someone help me out?
aspnetguy
You can make a note on the main page telling user they need to allow popups or with javascript you can send an alert message when the popup is blocked.

aspnetguy
because it was created over 10 years before FireFox!!!! Back when MS ruled the world...wait they still do...but they are slipping in some areas....hopefully

aspnetguy
nope you are stuck to javascript for that...if you could write the code so it would bypass popup blockers....ther would be no point in having a popup blocker!!!!!!!!!!!You can do nothing about except warn the users that your site uses popups or find another way to do it without popups
