Im working slowly on an image gallery for my site. Ive tried to put in a feature where when you load an image through ajax, it checks the browser size, then resizes the image accordingly so the image isn’t taller than the users view point. I have it working in FF IE 7 and 6. load the following link and click on image with different browser heights, the images should adjust.please give it a goand your feedback http://james-wilson.co.uk/cms/_websites/ww...ery-gallery.asp but in safari, I cant even get an alert out of the ajaxed page – is there code to kick of javascript within an ajaxed page?????????

sorry - the problem was i still had html, head, and body tags in the ajax page - where as now i am just sucking in what i actually needwas treating it like an iframe... opps!!the one image problem goes if you refresh - its to do with the jquery not setting the right width on the UL which is a bugger some times :)
