Guest rcw
JQuery is all the rage right now plus being slightly confusing and highly useful so it would be fun to have a w3schools tutorial on that.
jeffman
JQuery is strictly third-party and already has it own tutorials. Plus, I've noticed that when people come here with JQuery questions, they seem wildly confused about so many things--like, not remembering that X is a JQuery function and not a javascript function. You may get results, but do you understand them? If something goes wrong, can you fix it?JQuery adds a layer of abstraction between the designer and the DOM. Useful (maybe), but we tend to be purists around here. There may be an audience, but the regulars (I mean the ones who do most of the helping) won't have much to offer.Just my thoughts.
