music_lp90
Hi, I have a site that added a link to us from their site. Normally this would be a good thing, but not from this site. Right now I have added this line to our .htaccess file:RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} (websitenamehere\.com) [NC] RewriteRule .* - [F]So, this takes them to a Forbidden page, but I would like to completely send them away so they are not on our site at all. Is there a way to say if referrer is from this URL, send them to www.bogusaddress.com?Thanks!
jlhaslip
try this: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http://www.evil-hotlinking-domain.com/ [NC] RewriteRule * http://www.google.com [R,L]
music_lp90
Thanks jlhaslip. The site removed the link at our request, so I guess I don't have to worry about it anymore, but in the future this may help. Thanks!
