mstransky Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 I do many xml databases in asp and made many dashboard and controllers for them.I have one draw back in asp xml, what are some others draw backs others have found with xml asp php and stuff.I found asp and xml is very stable, fast with xml files over 1meg already of info and cross variables from three seprate xml files to run an online catalog of old wwii magazines. Even other xml banner scripts I wrote to count impressions and clicks across various external web sites. even just simple dashboards to control some page contents and stuff.just looking for what others are saying about xml vs. sql?I will be making some mach down simple versions to put on my site later, but will look for some feed back for what bells and whistle to add to them.My next goal is to complete an xml portal databses of users and sessions.
