jarrett000
I learned the JRegExp function and found it to be quite useful. My question is simple: Is it poaaible to use RegExp or anything similar in PHP?
boen_robot
There are POSIX regex functions and PCRE functions for that.

jeffman
Stick with the PCRE versions. The POSIX will not be part of PHP 6. preg_replace() and preg_match() are your workhorses. A programmer who can whip off a few regexes during a job interview stands a much better chance of getting hired than one who cannot.
