Ingolme Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Use <p> elements only for paragraphs.Use <div> elements for boxes and divisions that don't have any real semantic value.Your page will work and be valid even if you don't follow these guidelines, but it's about semantic websites.As we go advancing, browsers and search engines are going to learn what kind of information and structure pages have. It can help because search engines can show related pages, or give people an idea of where they're going to find the information they're looking for and what kind of information it is.
