Alien
Now, i am learning web-design/coding things like that, i've been having a look of source codes of websites such as IMDB and CNN they all use tables, but what sort, are there different sorts, i am using Dreamweaver, when i create a table, it leaves a space between my image and the text area i want to create, any tips on how i can stop this and improve my skills with tables. :)Edit, here's a image of what i am talking about..Basically i want to get the tables to touch so there is no gap etc.Even if you can give me a completely different code or technique on how to do this, it would be great. Ingolme
Despite its popular use, tables are the wrong way to lay out a page. Aside from that, I don't recommend you use the graphical editor of dreamweaver, code all your pages in the text editor.
Alien
I am not advanced enough yet to use a text editor to create my web-pages. Do you have any codes i can use to lay out my page, then?
Ingolme
You probably should learn HTML and CSS before continuing with web development. Otherwise, you won't be able to get far.
