Ingolme Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 "Software" is what's running on the server to display your page.The mod_rewrite module of Apache (if your webhost uses Apache) changes URLs for you.You can use it by placing a .htacces file in the directory you want to change URLs for. I thought that he thought he needed some specific software called apache, him not realizing it was a type of server "software". i think i thought wrong.
