TrepaNation~
Hello, I am building a web/blog site right now and wanted to add a simple 2 option graphic menu. (follow us on Twitter | Facebook). I built it in photoshop then imageready. It is a simple graphic with two roll-over actions (3 images total). I thought this would be a simple 1 hr project, but rather, it has taken me nearly 2 days. Here is my issue...The site I am building is based on a CMS platform (socialgo) so I have to input code in location specific text fields. Imageready output the 3 image files and one html file. I then uploaded the images to my FTP and pasted the contents of the html doc to the appropriate text field. Obviously the images linked in the image ready html file were marked up as if they were local files, so i went through and edited the image sources to point at the ftp. What I get is a content box and working links, but no images. Can someone please look at the original code and tell me what I need to do? I am really only familiar with HTML and CSS, and this appears to have Java and some sort of "preload" I have never seen before. <html><head><title>FollowMe</title><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"><!-- ImageReady Preload Script (FollowMe) --><script type="text/javascript"><!--function newImage(arg) { if (document.images) { rslt = new Image(); rslt.src = arg; return rslt; }}function changeImages() { if (document.images && (preloadFlag == true)) { for (var i=0; i<changeImages.arguments.length; i+=2) { document[changeImages.arguments[i]].src = changeImages.arguments[i+1]; } }}var preloadFlag = false;function preloadImages() { if (document.images) { FollowMe3_01_Twitter_over = newImage("images/FollowMe3_01-Twitter_over.png"); FollowMe3_01_Facebook_over = newImage("images/FollowMe3_01-Facebook_over.png"); preloadFlag = true; }}// --></script><!-- End Preload Script --></head><body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" onload="preloadImages();"><!-- ImageReady Slices (FollowMe) --><img name="FollowMe3_01" src="images/FollowMe3_01.png" width="250" height="80" border="0" alt="" usemap="#FollowMe3_01_Map"><map name="FollowMe3_01_Map"><area shape="rect" alt="" coords="191,16,232,57" href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/wwwthetrepanationcom/88603750616?ref=mf" target="_blank" onmouseover="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01-Facebook_over.png'); return true;" onmouseout="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01.png'); return true;" onmousedown="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01-Facebook_over.png'); return true;" onmouseup="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01-Facebook_over.png'); return true;"><area shape="rect" alt="" coords="143,16,184,57" href="https://twitter.com/thetrepanation" target="_blank" onmouseover="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01-Twitter_over.png'); return true;" onmouseout="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01.png'); return true;" onmousedown="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01-Twitter_over.png'); return true;" onmouseup="changeImages('FollowMe3_01', 'images/FollowMe3_01-Twitter_over.png'); return true;"></map><!-- End ImageReady Slices --></body></html> Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Alex~
