Has any noticed that if you try to inspect an element on the apple.com website, apple have some script that hides the top menu bar?I was trying to see how they did their search bar with the images, and every time i went to inspect it, it disappeared ! Check it out, very smart of apple!

I'm not sure if they meant to do that or if that's a bug. Either way, you can still inspect if you go through the HTML tab. That top bar is the div with ID "globalheader", if you click on the div you'll see that it has a CSS property to hide it. You can disable that CSS property to make it show up again. The globalheader div has a globalnav UL list, and a globalsearch div with the form in it.
