jeffman
1. add a doctype declaration2. separate presentation from markup. In the old days, we put things like height, width, color, background, etc. right inside the element tags. That6 does not work with xhtml, and doesn't work with standards-compliant html. All that stuff gets moved into your CSS stylesheet. In some cases the CSS names for an equivalent attribute are the same, but in other cases different. So don't try to guess. Look at a CSS reference.3. In the other cases, you just need to add alt and id attributes. Just do what the validator says. There's not much to understand.Uh . . . you're using the validator here, right: http://validator.w3.org ?

So:OK for the doctype declaration. I do not understand point 2. How can I move all the stuff into the CSS stylesheet? What does it mean 'look at the CSS reference'? Can you give me an example on about where to add the 'just need to add alt and id attributes'? Yes I am using the validator from w3.org. Again many thanks for helping
chibineku
Beautiful pictures on your site, my man. Very beautiful, and the image slider is impressive - the addition of the reflections is very nice.

Again many thanks for helping A stylesheet is a separate document, written in CSS, that tells the browser how to display your page:Learn CSS here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/The alt attribute is required on <img> elements. If an image failed to load, or the person is using a text-only browser, or the person is blind and has a text-to-speech browser, the image needs to have some alternate text.id is an attribute used to identify an object. It can be used for Javascript, CSS, or as an anchor node which can be accessed with the <a> element.
