boen_robot
Whatever strikes you fancy. Whatever you feel is missing on the market. If you don't completely make it, at least set it as a final goal, and in the meantime, do some sites for friends and family for free, for practice's sake. boen_robot
Someone asked me to make a streets file what is that?Is it just like a custom code or what? Why not ask them? Sounds like a map application to me (think "Google Maps" or "Live Maps"). If so... that may be too much of a first goal to set... put it aside as a final destination (what you may eventually do). jeffman
A lot of small, independent businesses (crafts, candle stores, etc.) still have no digital inventory or online storefront. Or if they have a storefront, it ultimately comes down to sending an EMAIL to the business owner, which is barely one step better than a phone call. Create a basic SQL database and HTML interface to it that would allow clients to enter new inventory efficiently and indicate sales, damaged goods, and so on. Make a storefront that would let businesses sell online. Make it general enough that you can adapt the basic source code to almost any business that needs one. Then you can practically give it away, which is how you want to get your first dozen customers anyway.
PHPiSean
Yeah, I love programming, but I always run out of ideas myself. That is always something I cannot overcome.
