The editor can beautiful the code.I wouldn't go putting all your money on that solving all your problems. It's just worth getting a handle the code basics, following books and online tutorials, and ask question. Then you'll actually know the code. Much more practical. There's a link in my signature to ConTEXT which is the one I prefer, and there's also the poll in that thread. Crimson and PSPad are also pretty popular.There are several editors that format HTML code, but I haven't seen any that will format PHP code. That would be a pretty neast idea, though.
