RXS
http://upctricks.freehostia.comI managed to whip up something in 3 hours, and I feel very accomplished, seeing as this is my first blog design. The style, as you can see, is very simple but very sleek and elegant. And what do you know - no CSS errors!
Synook
Tables?
RXS
Hey, I used DIV tags as well But yes, I really wish I didn't have to use tables, but it makes things very easy to contain the properties within each table, whereas div tags sometimes build on top/below of each other for the most part. Synook
Have you tried floating?
RXS
Unfortunately, yes. But all it does it float out of the content box. (I have the DIVs set within each-other to create the shadow effect. That's probably why.)
thescientist
the site doesn't pass HTML validation though, which is arguably more important. Whatever you're doing with tables, you should be able to do with CSS. Why? Because tables are not for positioning elements on a page. Not to knock the design, which I like, but it's better if you are just starting to adopt proper habits from the beginning. Just merely a suggestion/comment.
