tadpole
hello its me again.I do, do a lot of re search to make sure i am on the right train.today as i was at http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/html-spec/html-spec_toc.htmland at the table of contents i saw : Hypertext Markup Language - 2.0 September 22, 1995the date is what makes me wonder ? as well as a reference to use a different code construct in sending a form, here it gave a reference of using a URI for a action attribute compared to a file.file suffix. I was looking for other info to verify, but ran across this.If you know that this page with a date of 1995 is reliable please let me know.maybe some one could append 'created' beside the date ?.Thank you
Synook
That is the date that the HTML 2.0 (not "web 2.0") specification was created. We are now at HTML 4.01, with HTML 5 under development, so that information may be just a bit out of date.
justsomeguy
Here's the current list of HTML-related specs:http://www.w3.org/standards/techs/html#w3c_allThe most recent HTML specification is for HTML 4.01, and you can also see the drafts and notes for HTML 5.
