trinistorm
Well this isn't so web server specific but I need software that can help with planning server structures and flow charts and how servers relate to each other in diagrammatic form. Any suggestions?
Synook
If you don't mind paying, Visio is great.
boen_robot
If they're in the same network, MikroTik's Dude is a great tool. You don't have to use RouterOS for it to work (though there are some extras if do have RouterOS in the network), and it allows you not only to map and connect them, but also to check if they're online. If you mean planning within a single PC structure, I find it annoying to have such kind of charts. A server is either on or off. You can connect to it locally or remotely, but the server itself is always either on or off. It's not dependant on something else. You can access MySQL regardless of whether you have Apache and/or PHP installed. You can have Apache running regardless of whether MySQL is turned on or off, etc.
