skaterdav85
Does anyone recommend any particular CSS framework? I just recently heard about these and thought it would be good to learn one so I dont have to deal with silly browser compatibility issues as much. Synook
You mean grid systems? They are useful - the 960 Grid System stylesheet is quite popular, and Nettuts+ has a tutorial on it.P.S. chibineku - they are basically pre-written stylesheets with lots of rules set to class selectors that you can then use in your markup. Generally, they are made to help you implement grid-based design.
skaterdav85
ya i guess i mean grid systems. Although in YUI, grid systems is only a third of their CSS foundation. I just see several places calling it a CSS framework. Not really sure what the difference is between a framework and a library. Do you? In any case, YUI CSS was pretty easy to learn and it only took an hour or so. Much less time spent than creating my div layouts by hand and doing browser compatibility!
